On October 19th, when you arrive at the event taking place at the Kaunas Žalgiris Arena, take advantage of the opportunity to update your CV profile picture completely free of charge!

From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the CV photo studio will be waiting for you in the Make Your CV WANTed zone.

• Upload your updated CV and, at the same time, complete your personal profile;
• Review the list of companies and submit your CV for positions that interest you before Career Days;
• or during Career Days, scan the QR codes located at the company booths and submit your CV with just a few clicks.

From October 9th to 13th, from 12:30 to 13:30, visit the CV-check point in the XI Faculty foyer.

On the 19th of October at the WANTed Career Days, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with a multitude of companies, job or internship offers. Until then, we welcome you to get your CV, Motivational letter, LinkedIn profile and much more in order with us!

KTU Career planning consultant Eglė Račkauskienė will share her experience on how to prepare a memorable Motivational letter.
The language of the workshop will depend on student registration, if English speakers register – the session will be read in English.

Thinking about kickstarting your dream career? Join a workshop hosted by Karolina Zelbienė from Work in Lithuania to maximize your success.

Do you have difficulty to fit your resume on one A4 sheet, or maybe you are staring in a blank one – come, I will answer most of your questions.
KTU Career planning consultant Eglė Račkauskienė will share her experience on how to prepare resume that gets you on interview.

Before Career Days:

1. Participate in consultations and training sessions.
2. Prepare a strong CV – don’t forget to upload it to the WANTed platform.
3. Create or improve your LinkedIn profile.
4. Evaluate yourself, your competencies, and career ambitions.
5. Get to know the participants and opportunities at “KTU WANTed Career Days 2023“.
6. Select the companies that are most relevant to you.
7. Do your homework – research companies of interest, their activities, projects, and prepare questions.
8. Identify the unique value you can bring to a specific company and why you want to be a part of it.
9. Apply through the WANTed platform before or during Career Days.

During Career Days:

1. Arrive at Kaunas “Žalgiris” Arena with a smile and motivation.
2. Confidently approach company representatives – whether you want to inquire about experiences, skills you will gain, or if you are already applying and want to get to know the company, its team, and activities better.
3. Participate in all Career Days activities.

After Career Days:

1. If you applied for an internship or job position and haven’t received a response from the company, you can reach out after a week to inquire about the situation. Perhaps due to a high volume of applicants, the company didn’t see your CV.
2. Follow news from companies of interest on LinkedIn and other informational channels.
3. Seek career consultations and regularly update your CV, motivational letter, and LinkedIn profile (register for career consultations while logged into your Academic Information System (AIS) account).
4. Continuously check WANTed – the job and internship platform where you can find new job, internship, and other opportunities.

KTU WANTed Career days 2023 is the biggest contact fair for students, graduates and company representatives in the Baltic States organized by KTU for the nineteenth year. We invite you not only to participate, but also to contribute to the fulfillment of the event by volunteering at the KTU WANTed Career days on October 19!
