On 26 October, during KTU WANTed Career Days 2022 which will take place in the Žalgiris Arena, take the opportunity to update your CV profile photo completely free of charge!

KTU Photo studio will be waiting for you from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Inspiration space.

How to prepare for Career Days?

  • Create / improve your LinkedIn profile;
  • Prepare a presentable CV;
  • Evaluate your strengths, your professional experience and career ambitions;
  • Learn more about the participating companies and their offers in Career Days;
  • Participate in career consultations and trainings;
  • Name what added value you can bring to a particular company and why you would like to become part of that particular company.

We invite all 3rd and 4th year Bachelor and 1st and 2nd year Master students to participate in the Speed ​​networking session contest! During the WANTed Career days (October 26), representatives from thirteen companies will want to meet and interact with you.

In the speed networking session on 26 October we will give you a unique opportunity to talk with company representatives not as leaders or authorities who decide your future career path, but as more experienced colleagues who can listen to you, give you advice and share their experience!

Hurry up and sign up, the number of participants is very limited!

The inspiration space is designed for interactive activities, where you can get to know the companies and the products they create, and also, try your hand at races, brainstorming, and games. The companies will offer the participants of the event to experience different virtual reality activities, sit down for a conversation or even have a snack. In the space of inspiration, the organisations participating in the event as social partners will also introduce themselves and invite you to learn more about the activities of the Lithuanian Customs, the Lithuanian Police, the Military Conscription and the Assembly Service. In addition, the participants of the event will be able to receive detailed information about the Junior Officer Command courses and the “I choose to teach” programme. In the inspiration space, the Make Your CV WANTed zone will be open, where the participants of the event will be able to consult with career specialists about the preparation of a resume, take part in a photo session of subject photographs (necessary for a CV or LinkedIn profile), find out what additional competences can be provided by studying or practicing abroad under international mobility programs, why it is worth participating in the ECIU challenges, or what studies to choose at the master’s level.

The respite space is designed to take a breather, break away from work conversations and concentrate before making new acquaintances with companies or organizations. During the entire event, you can try aroma therapy, engage in relaxation exercises, and listen to soothing music in the relaxation area. In addition to these activities, in the respite space, we invite you to join the Dj Folk music box session led by the National Music Department of the Kaunas City Museum and listen to the advice of a KTU psychologist on how to prepare for an interview with a company and reduce stress.
